At Muslim Explorers, we believe the best Islamic education happens when children experience their deen โ not just memorize it. This summer, your child will meet the animals of the Qur'an at the Cincinnati Zoo, wade through Allah's creek learning about Al-Razzฤq, and master all 28 Arabic letters through movement, song, and play. Every moment is designed to plant a seed of love for Allah ๏ทป, Islam, and lifelong learning.

Animals of the Qur'an
A five-day journey through the creatures Allah ๏ทป placed in His Book โ from the whale of Prophet Yลซnus to the ant of Sulaymฤn AS. Children explore the Qur'anic stories behind each animal, connect them to the beautiful names of Allah, and see it all come to life at the Cincinnati Zoo.

Names of Allah
Five beautiful names of Allah ๏ทป โ discovered through science, nature, and play. Children learn Al-Badee' through butterflies, Al-Razzฤq through creeking, Al-Bฤsiแนญ through popcorn and parachutes, Al-Muแธฅyฤซ through the water cycle, and Al-Nลซr through light and shadow. Every name becomes a lived experience, not a memorized word.

Alif Baa Taa Arabic Playhouse
A joyful introduction to all 28 Arabic letters โ through movement, music, stories, art, and touch. Using the Ihsan Muslim Explorers workbooks, your little one will trace letters in sand, stamp them in paint, and sing them out loud. By Friday, they'll know every letter โ and love the Arabic language.

Family Outings
Field Trips โ Parents Welcome!
Our field trips are family outings. We invite and encourage parents to join us for each one. Children travel with their teachers; parents can meet us there or carpool. Come experience the learning with your child!

We meet Allah's creation face-to-face โ from the aquarium (Yลซnus AS) to the aviary (Hudhud). Parents meet us at the main entrance at 10:45 AM. Children travel by bus.

Our most beloved outing! Wade into the creek, build boats, and discover Al-Razzฤq (The Provider) in every flowing drop of water. Parents meet at the Harbor area. This is a real family adventure โ get ready to get wet!

Max 20 students per camp, two dedicated teachers. Every child is seen, known, and celebrated.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can my child attend more than one camp?
Absolutely โ and we encourage it! The three camps are designed for different age groups and themes, so they complement each other beautifully. Note that the Arabic Playhouse is for ages 4โ6, while the Animals and Names camps are for ages 5โ10.
What if we can't make the field trip day?
Children who cannot attend the field trip can still participate in the regular camp day at our facility. Please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly. Parents are always welcome to join trips โ just RSVP so we know you're coming.
Are snacks and lunch included?
Halal snacks are provided every day. Children attending the full-day camps (Animals & Names of Allah) should bring their own halal lunch. The half-day Arabic Playhouse ends before lunchtime. All food must be halal and nut-free.
What is your cancellation / refund policy?
Full refund if cancelled at least 7 days before camp start. 50% refund within 3โ7 days. No refund within 3 days of camp start. If Muslim Explorers cancels a camp for any reason, a full refund is issued.
Do I need to send extra materials for the Arabic Playhouse?
Yes โ the Ihsan Muslim Explorers Arabic workbook and flashcard set are included in the $289 registration fee and go home with your child at the end of camp.
Is there a sibling discount?
Yes! Register two or more children from the same family and receive $20 off each additional child. Contact us at info@ihsanmuslimExplorers.org after registering to apply the discount.
