A brotherhood that builds character.

A structured weekly brotherhood circle for our young men, taught by Ustadh Asim at Ihsan. Every Saturday evening, boys engage in a four-block rhythm — Qur’an, halaqa, team challenge, and reflection — designed to grow them in discipline, knowledge, character, and brotherhood across the year, inshaAllah.

Saturdays · 4 – 7 PM Ihsan Islamic Center 37 Weeks
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ

“Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.”

To raise disciplined, grounded Muslim young men who understand their faith, carry themselves with integrity, and are equipped to face the challenges of manhood — not because they were told to, but because they chose to rise up. Our Vision · Surah Ar-Ra’d 13:11

The Four Pillars

What we build, every Saturday, week after week.

Discipline

Self-regulation, punctuality, and following through on commitments.

Knowledge

Qur’anic understanding, Islamic history, and life skills.

Character

Honesty, courage, humility, and respect for self and others.

Brotherhood

Journey Through the Year

A four-phase journey of growth — from foundation to leadership — across 37 carefully designed weeks.

Phase 01
Weeks 1–10

Foundation

Identity, expectations, and brotherhood. Boys learn who they are as Muslims and co-create the community they want to belong to.

Phase 02
Weeks 11–20

Discipline

Habits, self-regulation, and accountability. Building the daily routines and inner strength that define a confident young Muslim man.

Phase 04

Six things every session is built on.

Across both programs — Young Ladies and Young Men — RiseUp is rooted in the same six practices that shape confident, spiritually grounded young Muslims.

Qur’an & Tafsir

Memorization paired with meaningful tafsir discussions that bring the words of Allah to life.

Islamic Studies

A grounded understanding of faith, fiqh, and seerah — taught in a way that speaks to today’s youth.

Open Discussions

A safe, judgment-free space for the real questions youth carry — about identity, faith, and life.

Personal Growth

Journaling, reflection, and intentional practice to help every young person become their best self.

Life Skills Workshops

Practical, hands-on workshops tied to the real situations youth face — at school, online, and at home.

Mentorship & Service

Trained Muslim educators, older mentors, and meaningful volunteer opportunities in the community.

Mark your calendars, dear families.

Both Young Ladies and Young Men follow the same yearly calendar — same first day, same festivals, same breaks. Only the weekly times differ.
